Some may not be this way but I like how it looks. These are the Pros/Cons I’ve found with both. So, my current productivity setup is Notion for Job Applications and Read Later saves, OneNote for notes, and To Do/Reminders for Tasks. Yeah, I’m switching back to To Do because while it has a lot of cons, the integration with Reminders (now that I have fully tested it out) is 1,000% better than Todoist’s where you have to go through IFTTT or Shortcuts. However, I wish they kept the side panel with task detail view, that alone makes me want to use Todo. In the end, Todoist is certainly a better app. Kanban view (Todoist has it, but the implementation doesn't allow for on-the-fly switching between list view and Kanban).Things which both apps lack that exist in other apps: Direct one way integration with Onenote. My Day (partial usability since it can't be set up a day prior, but is a good idea nevertheless).Syncs with Apple Reminders (partial sync, advanced Reminders functionality not supported, steps and attachments don't show up in Reminders).Syncs with Desktop Outlook and MS Exchange (partial sync, no steps). It's hard to overemphasize the importance of a well designed interface. This may not seem like much but it keeps me going back to Todo hoping that MS has finally fixed tag search results sorting. Better visual interface design (task detail view, custom backgrounds).Ways in which MS Todo is superior to Todoist: In Todo, Attachments and notes are separated. Comments and attachments in task are ordered by time added.Ability to forward emails as comments directly into specific tasks or as new tasks.Multiple comments and attachments per task. Each subtask is a full task with its own attributes, due dates, attachments, comments etc.Better Outlook integration (Todoist plugin allows setting task attributes when creating a task from email on desktop)."next recurrence x days after completion) Multiple sorting options in all views, including search results and tag summaries.Custom views and filters based on mutliple parameters including dates, lists (projects), and tags.Consistent application interface design and feature set across different platforms.Superb Natural language processing on all platforms and via emailed tasks.Ways in which Todoist is superior to MS Todo:
